Child Exams & Immunizations
We are dedicated to the health and well being of your children and look forward to providing the youngest members of your family with the very best in care from the first days of life through early adulthood and beyond.

Diagnosing and treating childhood illnesses is only part of the care we offer. Our healthy child team is also responsible for:
- Performing regular screening and evaluation of babies and children for appropriate growth and development.
- Vaccination of babies and children and providing you with advice about specific disease prevention.
- Giving guidance on nutrition and general care of your baby or child.
- Assessing and treating illnesses.
- Coordination of care for children receiving treatment from different specialists.

At Parkway Family Physicians we're focused on providing you and your child with quality care and a great experience each time they visit our clinic. We have a special kids area in our lobby, an enchanted fairy garden, a colorful child friendly exam room and before each little patient leaves . . . they can choose a special treat from the jewel covered treasure chest. Kids love coming to Parkway and we love seeing them because it makes our day. As a group we have delivered over a 1,000 babies since 1983 and today many are still patients and bring their own children to our clinic. Also, we a very proud of the number of kids we’ve treated who have gone on to become doctors themselves.
Our Philosophy on Vaccines
At Parkway Family Physicians, we strongly encourage vaccines for your child, as it is an important way you can keep your child healthy. We recommend starting immunizations early to provide protection for our young and most vulnerable as many diseases prevented by vaccines are very often more serious in young children. Waiting or avoiding vaccines means that children are at risk for a longer period of time and spreading out the schedule leaves your child unprotected.
The recommended schedule is set up to protect children from preventable diseases and when compared to the risk of disease . . . vaccines are the safer choice. Our children are our future and all of us at Parkway Family Physicians would like to partner with you in protecting them.
Recommended Schedule For Immunizations & Routine Visits
At Parkway Family Physicians we strongly encourage immunizing your child on time. Not immunizing your child puts him or her at risk and it also puts his or her friends and our community at risk. Individual patient’s schedule may vary and we would be happy to discuss any concerns and answer all questions you may have.
Please be aware that the schedules frequently change. Use the links below to see the continuously updated recommendations:
