What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of the Parkway Plan?

You and your physician will be free to decide what the best care is for your particular problem without any outside third-party involvement or pressure.

There is no paperwork involved other than signing up.
Advantage 3: Accountability
Under the Parkway Plan, there is no conflict of interest. We are working directly for you.
Advantage 4: Price
The Parkway Plan is not expensive.
Advantage 5: Coverage
Promotes and Covers Preventive Care
Advantage 6: Smaller is Better
Parkway is small enough to work effectively for the benefit of each individual member.
Disadvantage 1: Outside Tests, Hospitals, and Consultants
There will be times when you may need outside testing or X-rays, visits to consultants, operations, and hospitalization. The Parkway Plan does not cover these costs.
Disadvantage 2: One-Year Commitment
Contracts run for one year, without exception.
